Class 2 Licence - Bus

Prerequisites* to obtain a Class 2 Licence (bus)

  • Must have had a Class 5 licence (passenger vehicle) for 2 years.
  • Must not have more than 3 demerit points entered on your driving record.
  • Your licence must not have been suspended or revoked during the previous 2 years.
  • Provide a satisfactory medical report (SAAQ Form M-28).
  • Pass the SAAQ knowledge test (general and air brake system).
  • Pass the 2 SAAQ road tests (pre-trip inspection, closed track).
Note: The Class 3 Licence entitles you to drive all vehicles except the vehicles under Classes 1 (Tractor trailers and various vehicle combinations) 2 (Buses) and 6 (Motorcycles).
