Tecnic Driving School started in 1984 from the association of three driving school groups that had been in operation since the early 60s in the greater Montreal area, including the North and South Shores of Montreal.

The Tecnic Driving School network included 37 schools at the time, but never stopped growing. Today, Tecnic Driving School is the largest network of driving schools in Quebec, covering almost every area of the province.

Doing business with Tecnic means dealing with a network of experts in driver training and road safety education. We are a driving course provider for both businesses and individual drivers . Training programs for individual drivers range from passenger vehicle to heavy vehicle driving courses, as well as for other vehicles: motorcycle, moped, bus and pleasure craft .

Advanced Tecnic, our specialized division in advanced training, has extensive experience in driver training and road safety education for businesses. We offer various training programs, tailored to the specific needs and requirements of each company, by our versatile and experienced staff:controlled skidding ,defensive driving, driving skills assessments, road safety education seminars and workshops, utility vehicle driving, and braking techniques on slippery or icy surfaces in vehicles equipped or not with ABS.

At Tecnic, we believe that sound training is crucial either to earn a driver’s licence or learn advanced driving techniques. Every year, over 40,000 persons trust Tecnic to be trained in those important skills and we are thankful.

We are the largest driving school network in Québec, and as such we put teaching quality and customer service first and foremost in our list of priorities. We also take very seriously, as a corporate organization, the social responsibility of training the young generation of drivers.

• Ever since 2002, Tecnic has entered into partnerships with large companies, such as Mazda Canada, Kawasaki, Ducati, Honda Canada and Gestion GroupAssurance, to offer our customers exclusive contests, promotions, and discounts.
• Since 2005, Tecnic has collaborated with the Lifesaving Society to provide the Boat Operator Accredited Training™ (B.O.A.T.) course leading to earning the Pleasure Craft Operator Card, a proof of competency all operators are required to have on board since September 15, 2009.
• The Tecnic network has over 400 certified training instructors in staff.
