Motorcycle Training Courses
To get your Motorcycle Driver’s Licence, you must complete a driving course on operating a motorcycle. With over 24 years of experience, Tecnic has the expertise to provide the right training program leading you to obtain your Motorcycle Driver’s Licence and to be a safe and confident motorcycle driver. Our Motorcycle Training Program (mandatory) is a 3-phase course that includes:
- Classroom lessons (9 hours)
- Closed track practice sessions (4 x 4.5 hours)
- On-road practice sessions (2 x 2 hours)

Theory
Classroom Sessions with Tecnic (mandatory)

- Prepare you to the practice sessions to begin as soon as you have your Class 6R Learner’s Licence for motorcycle drivers.

Those not holding a Class 5 Licence must add to the above program 6 50-minute classroom sessions on Signalling and the Highway Safety Code. As opposed to the 9 mandatory classroom sessions focused on motorcycle driving, these additional sessions are optional. Bear in mind, however, that the SAAQ written knowledge test will include the subject matter covered in these 6 additional sessions.
Learning Materials suggested for the Program
- The book "Maîtriser votre moto". The must-have study buddy to prepare for the exam!
- The book "Maîtriser le volant". The ideal go-to reference book for those who do not hold their Calls 5 Licence, because it covers Signalling and the Highway Safety Code.
- Online exam. Perfect to practice at home in preparation for the written knowledge test!
